  • Liaise daily with customers and maintenance providers for a fleet of locomotives operating in Europe
  • Oversee the technical condition of a fleet of 20 to 30 locomotives
  • Schedule and track preventive and corrective maintenance operations and log them in the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Ensure full-service leasing contracts are correctly carried out and comply with the technical, financial and safety commitments
  • Put forward proposals and find solutions that match customer requirements
  • Work in close collaboration with the Akiem engineering unit in order to establish feedback reports

Main requirements

  • A technical background and experience in an after-sales service position in a technical field or in vehicle or machine maintenance
  • Experience with a CMMS
  • Fluency in either English, Polish, German, French or Italian is essential (daily contact with customers); working proficiency in one or more of the other languages is preferred
  • Good customer relationship skills, negotiating capacities and ability to work autonomously; multi-skilled and well organised with good understanding of customer care
  • Rail sector knowledge is not essential
